Rebecca Bevans: A unique life, a qualified leader of the Graduate Student Association

Rebecca Bevans has spent quite a long time on our campus, and our campus is the better for it.

Rebecca’s career in higher education began at Nevada in 1994. She received her undergraduate degree from the University in psychology in 2001. She earned her master’s degree in experimental psychology in 2006, and is currently closing in on her Ph.D. in the cognitive and brain sciences program in the Department of Psychology.

And if this isn’t enough to keep her busy, she is also serving as president of the Graduate Student Association. Continue Reading »

Why I Give

Dear Colleagues:

I believe in giving to the community I live in. All communities have people in need and giving campaigns, like the University’s annual Charitable Giving Campaign, are instrumental to improving the quality of life by supporting services that that make a critical difference in our community.
